well. it’s time to wrap it up, dear readers! July 24, 2009

Well, after an extended absence, I have some bad news. I have a new place. At Blogger. It’s called, “I Love the Stars at Midnight.” …You know how it goes. Right?

Nevertheless, if you would like to mosey on over there, dear readers, I will be writing about more than shopping. (Crazy, right?!) The blog will include music, Etsy, clothes, my life, and books. Oh, and also THE FUNNY that so many of you have come to know and love here at Stylistas Anonymous. Yes. Like you, Mom.

I would love it if you transferred your readership to my new blog, but I won’t forget how much I loved this original blog…

For the last time…

locket and key double chain necklace. more keys?! July 8, 2009

Well, to be exact, it is only one more key to add to the billion already present in that other key necklace, from Forever21. It’s quite charming (see what I did there?), nonetheless. Because of the vintage look of this necklace, I would probably pair it with something equally vintage, maybe like that half-sheer, ruffled shirt or a really frilly dress. The color white would look great against that brass, I think.

Locket and Key Double Chain Necklace

...why the double chain name, if there's only one?

Lulu*s is selling it for $16, here, and it only comes in this one color. But what a fabulous color it is!  Doesn’t it remind you of a mini cymbal?

I… dislike this dress. I don’t particularly like the pattern or the colors, and I think that the contrasting fibers overwhelm the simple design.

But if you like looking your grandma’s tea cozy, Cutiemus is selling this monstrosity here, for the bargain price (as far as handmade tea cozies go, at least) of $48. If you wear sizes medium or large, you should be in luck. Whether that luck is good or bad depends on your perception.

Back to blogging about silly things like shopping and stuff. Yay!

I’m not much one for purses, but I like this one quite a bit. Can’t say that I would use it regularly, but I do adore those ruffles…

Charlotte Russe is selling it for $19.99 here. Those ruffles are calling you.

Happy July, everybody! To celebrate the month of American freedom and independence, here’s a lovely red shoe. Look at the heel! I don’t really like pointy-toed shoes all that much, but I love the heel height and the gorgeous candy apple color of this shoes. I would wear it with a little black dress (or maybe a blue one for a Fourth of July celebration?) to add a delicious pop of color.

gorgeous and red.

Target is selling these babies here, for the clearance price of $20.98.  They also come in black. Sizes include 5.5 to 10 for the red and 5.5 t0 10 and 11 for the black. Spice things up this July.
